Back after a period of time, Today's topic is 'Transgender', the topic which over the period of time has gone close to my heart. We call them 'hijara' or 'chhakka' in hindi, as it is difficult for our society to treat them as a 'human', but, we call them on marriages or when a child is born to seek blessings and give them the money in return. But why do we step back when there is a time to give them the respect? Than we just shoe them away.
Yes, the times have changed, but I think in today's world also, whenever there is a transgender around us, there is a sense of awkwardness, awkwardness of their identity. Say if two 'normal' people are standing and there is a transgender, there will be 100% chances of his/her abandonment, the result of which he might feel lonely. We call ourselves the modern generation, but still the transgender people suffer in terms of admissions in schools, colleges, offices. Such kind of discrimination leads to unemployment, poverty, lack of healthcare access even, which is very unfortunate.
Firstly, they are questioned for their own identity, how, where when the third person has no right to question on their identity. We dont question a female, why she is a female, we don't question a male why he is that so, than what on earth has given anyone the right to question his/her identity. He/she is a human, that is enough for you to talk to them including they are well behaved. If they are good natured, they can be your friends as well, for God's sake they are not animals that we stamp a question mark on why their are born on this earth.
Even if they are born in a silver spoon or by mistake they have made big in their lives, still their would be the same questions. No degree, no hardwork, no philanthropy work would matter, first question would be 'How do you recognize your identity'?
I will tell you what is my opinion on transgenders wherever I have met in buses or may be in my neighbourhood where marriage happened. Whenever you meet a transgender, all they demand is the look of love and respect. You look into them with eyes full of love and respectful words, they would give their life's blessings to you. I swear they would not even demand money in return. The person whose birth, living, identity is a question even by their own parents, seek nothing but a token of kindness, love and respect, than you see the magic in your lives that how the things change for you in the most higher way as a transgender's blessings never go waste.
As I just mentioned that a transgender's blessings never go waste and are bound to fulfill with 'the real shine', so just for the greed of those blessings only, respect them with all your heart !
